FORMER EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, ARVEST BANK
Jeff Jernigan was the executive vice president of business development at Arvest Bank. His role was Executive Vice President include facilitating a smooth transition of Union Bank customers, serving as a liaison to various organizations, identifying and assisting customers with product opportunities, developing larger commercial relationships in partnership with commercial relationship managers and serving on the local Arvest leadership team.
He has served as treasurer for both the Starlight and EPIC Boards of Directors., and has been involved alternately with both organizations since 2003.
After receiving his bachelor of science from Kansas State University and attending graduate school at the University of Colorado, Jeff began his career 40 years ago as a teller and has worked at a total of six banks before joining Arvest. In the beginning of his career, he had the fortune of working in virtually every department becoming familiar with the internal and external operations of banking. He spent most of his career in commercial lending, retail, marketing and branch management. Those experiences led Jeff to the 13 years he spent as a CEO prior to joining Arvest.
He has served in various roles on numerous boards of charitable organizations including former chairman of Research Medical Center, current chairman of Research College of Nursing, member of the Girl Scouts of America, former chairman of Ozanam Foundation, treasurer of Turning Point Legal Board and current chairman of Turning Point Advisory Board. Jeff was a 23 year member of the Plaza Rotary Club, is active in forming a Brookside/Waldo Rotary Club and a life member of the Kansas State University and Kansas University Presidents Club.
