Why did Yellow feel the need to host an event for their employees? Yellow is in the process of significant organizational changes. They wanted to ensure that the strategy for the transformation was understood and supported by the entire company. What did they have to do? Yellow was converting three separate divisions into three inter-connected divisions. They wanted to bring all of the managers and directors together to show them how beneficial the transformation would be for the company. Yellow knew they wanted everyone to come to the World Headquarters in Kansas City. They wanted everyone to understand they were ONE company. They wanted EPIC.

STEP TWO: We Act

EPIC knew that Yellow wanted a high-tech look that would complement their message of transformation. We used large video formats to make sure everyone could see the products in action. The more difficult trick was making an internal reorganization presentation FUN.

The heart of the event belonged to the Yellow strategic message that they were ONE company with world-class technology. The combining of transportation services and technological expertise resulted in the need to clarify the focus for all divisions working together as one unified company.

STEP THREE: We Labor

In less than two short weeks, we developed concepts, wrote scripts, designed the decor, installed equipment and executed the presentation. We transformed the facility into a high-tech oasis of "swamp holly" orange, highlighting the strong corporate brand identity of Yellow Corporation.

In The End...

We helped Yellow turn a challenging situation into a positive new direction. Underneath all the flash and fun, we still managed to keep their message of unity at the core of everything we did.
